In 2019, Laketta laid the foundation for her business, Elite Hair & Beauty Supply LLC. In 2022, she opened her online store, keeping her customers in mind as she began to make a name for herself. In addition, she obtained her Cranial Prosthesis & Lash Tech certifications.
Ultimately, Laketta’s goal is to make Elite Hair & Beauty Supply a household name—providing African American women a place to shop with dignity and respect. She strives to make Elite Hair & Beauty Supply a great place to work and shop.
Drawing from her retail background, she provides an elite customer service experience and trains her team to follow her lead. Laketta lives by the motto: “If You Want Something You Never Had, You Have to Do Something You Never Did.”
